If you're new to yoga, then I’d like to tell you a brief history. Yoga is an ancient and complex practice rooted in Indian philosophy. It began as a mental, physical, and spiritual practice and has grown in popularity in promoting positive physical and mental well-being.

I am going to introduce to you three of my favorite practices; Yin, Restorative, and Hatha throughout the next three months along with some meditation and nutritional lessons each week. Some poses are the same but are named differently in some of the practices which are common.

The nutritional segment is titled Just NO… Meaning exactly what I just said. Just NO… to purchasing or eating what I am going to show you and educate you about.  I chose some snacks and meals for you to make that I believe may be the most common. I made comparisons so you can see the benefits of what I purchase and how I cook or bake. I also wanted to make sure you are paying attention to my biggest pet-peeves. They are sugar and natural and artificial flavors. There is such a misconception out there that I wanted to help you understand the meaning of these.
