About

Hi, I’m Dr. Lynn. I am no stranger to physical challenges. I believe in the importance of health and wellness, especially when getting older.

I currently hold the following credentials:

  • Doctorate in Educational Leadership

  • Certified Yoga Instructor

  • Certified Nutrition and Wellness Consultant

  • Certified MS Fitness and Wellness Specialist

  • Certificate of Completion - Eat for Life: Increase Longevity, Reverse Disease, and Sustain Weight Loss

Over 25 years ago, I was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease called Multiple Sclerosis. MS is a disease of the brain and spinal cord which causes the immune system to attack the central nervous system.  As you are aware, this kind of disease can be debilitating. I didn’t want to be debilitated or suffer from pain, so I sent myself on a journey of research on how to be healthy and happy while maintaining this disease. On top of that, as I grew older, I developed degenerative bone disease. And most recently, I had a spinal decompression instrumented fusion. Despite these diagnoses, my brain and body are treating me just fine. I am so happy that I can maintain my yoga with some modifications which I am going to teach you in this program.

If you're new to yoga, then I’d like to tell you a brief history. Yoga is an ancient and complex practice rooted in Indian philosophy. It began as a mental, physical, and spiritual practice and has grown in popularity in promoting positive physical and mental well-being.

Over the course of my program, I’m going to teach you some fundamentals that will make you feel and think clearer than you did 20 years ago. Whether you have similar diagnoses or not, maybe you are just older and a little slower. I hope you purchase this program so you can think and feel younger today like I do.

My program offers three of my favorite yoga practices; Yin, Restorative, and Hatha throughout the next three months along with some meditation and nutritional lessons each week.

I hope you enjoy my three-month yoga, meditation, and nutrition program.

Namaste and remember, you can achieve anything if you believe that…

WE are Limitless.

A Note on Nutrition

Regarding the nutritional segments of this program: Just NO… Meaning exactly what I just said. Just NO… to purchasing or eating what I am going to show you and educate you about.  I chose some snacks and meals for you to make that I believe may be the most common. I made comparisons so you can see the benefits of what I purchase and how I cook or bake. I also wanted to make sure you are paying attention to my biggest pet-peeves. They are sugar and natural and artificial flavors. There is such a misconception out there that I wanted to help you understand the meaning of these.

For example, let’s talk about sugar and how it is calculated in our foods. For example, 4- 5 grams of sugar typically = 1 teaspoon. So, when you hear me talk about sugars and then added sugars, the math may be a little off as each manufacturer calculates the grams by 4 or 5 which can make a difference when adding it all together. Also, included sugar is already in the total sugar. It means they added sugar (not natural). So don’t add these together and get confused. And most of all, look at serving size. It is usually 1 serving per calculation you see but sometimes it’s the entire content. Be careful. I want you to listen carefully to my calculations as I may try to stump you. I want you to do the math. Some are obvious, but I’ll give you some hints along the way.

Also, as you watch this program, you will see me at times looking off the camera. This means I may have some sticky notes to remind me of important lessons I want to share with you. I am also not perfect, so you may see some corrections written in text at the top of some of the nutritional videos.

Please enjoy and remember that WE Are Limitless.
