One to Two Minute Meditation on Reflecting on Core Values
Begin by finding a comfortable seat, and gently close your eyes.
Take a deep breath in... and now out...
Let go of any tension you may have. Feel your shoulders relax, your jaw softens, and your mind begins to settle.
Now, bring your attention to your heart.
Think about what truly matters in your life. What are your principles, beliefs, or qualities that guide your actions and decisions? These are your core values. They are the compass that helps you navigate through life with purpose and integrity.
Now, take a moment to identify one or two core values that resonate deeply within you.
It might be love, honesty, kindness, or anything that feels true to your essence.
As you breathe in, imagine these values filling your whole body with warmth and clarity.
As you breathe out, feel the strength and confidence that these values bring to your being.
Sit with these values for a moment, allowing them to anchor you in the present.
Know that they are always with you, guiding you, helping you to stay aligned with your true self and being.
Now, bring your awareness back to your breath.
Inhale deeply, feeling centered and grounded.
Exhale, releasing any distractions.
When you are ready, slowly open your eyes, carrying your core values with you into the rest of your day.
