Meditation for Holliday Stress

Find a Comfortable Position:
Sit on your mat in your favorite position. As you know for me, it’s easy pose. Place the back of your hands on your knees with your palms facing the sky. 

 

Close Your Eyes:
Take a deep breath in through your nose, filling your lungs completely. Hold for a moment.

 

Exhale Slowly:
Release your breath through your mouth, letting go of any tension. Feel your body relax.

 

Focus on Your Breath:
Inhale deeply again, counting to four.


Hold for a moment.
Now exhale slowly, counting to six.

 

Visualize Calm:
With each breath, imagine inhaling peace and exhaling stress. Picture a warm light surrounding you that brings you calmness.

 

Set an Intention:
Think of one thing you’re grateful for this holiday season. Hold that thought as you breathe.

 

Slowly Bring Your Awareness Back: When you’re ready, open your eyes.

 

Now, Embrace the Moment:
Carry this sense of calm with you as you navigate the holiday season. You’ve got this!
