Welcome to this calming meditation. Begin by finding a comfortable position, either sitting or lying down. Close your eyes softly and take a deep breath in… hold for a moment… and exhale slowly.
As you breathe in, invite in a sense of renewal and clarity. Feel the freshness of the upcoming new year filling your body. With each exhale, release any stress or lingering tension from the holiday season.
Now, bring your attention to your body. Notice any areas of tightness or discomfort. With each breath, visualize that tension dissolving, replaced by a sense of calm and relaxation.
Imagine standing at the edge of a peaceful pond. The surface is smooth, reflecting the clear sky. With every inhale, draw in serenity. With every exhale, let go of anything that no longer serves you. Just let it go.
Take a moment to set a gentle intention for this new year—something you wish to embrace or something you want to let go of.
Now, take one last deep breath in… and slowly exhale.
When you’re ready, gently open your eyes, carrying this sense of peace and intention with you into the days ahead.
