Healthy Turkey Chili

Ingredients

 

I pound of healthy antibiotic free organic ground turkey

¼ cup of mince or chopped shallots or onion

3 diced tomatoes 

12 ounces of black beans (pre-soaked)

¼ tsp of garlic, onion powder then dried basil, & oregano

1 TB of chili powder, cummin, & paprika

Pinch of salt and pepper

½ can of organic black olives 

 

Start by gathering your ingredients in the order I just mentioned and assemble in that order.

1.      Cook your turkey over a skillet for 8-10 minutes

2.      Add your shallots or onions

3.      Add your diced tomatoes, black beans, and olives

4.      Then your dry ingredients

·         Bring all this to a boil then cover and simmer for 30 minutes.

 

Serve with shredded cheese or plain Greek yogurt on top.
