Healthy Cranberry Sauce

Healthy Cranberry Sauce

Ingredients

12 ounces of washed cranberries (I bag)

½ cup of sweetener. I like brown Monk fruit (or you can use erythritol and Stevia)

½ cup of water

2 TB of Keto Honey

1 tsp of lemon zest

1 tsp of cinnamon and 1 stick of cinnamon

Instructions

1.      Wash, rinse, and drain your cranberries

2.      In a saucepan, combine your water, sweetener, and honey. Bring to a boil. Reduce to medium and pour in your cranberries.

3.      Continually stir for about 8 minutes or until popping has finished and your sauce is now thick.

4.      While stirring, add your cinnamon.

5.      At the end, add your lemon zest

Your cranberries sauce will naturally thicken when stored in your refrigerator.

It’s Yummy

 Monk fruit

Monk fruit is a type of fruit native to Southeast Asia. It’s often used to make a natural sweetener. It’s free of calories and carbs, and some research suggests it may help support better blood sugar management.

Monk fruit also contains antioxidant compounds, which studies have shown may reduce markers of inflammation.

Always remember to like, follow, and share to support others.
