One Minute Meditation for Getting Through the Winter Blues
Get Comfortable
Sit in a comfortable position. Close your eyes, and take a deep breath in through your nose, allowing your belly to rise. Exhale slowly through your mouth. Let go of any tension in your body.
Visualize Warmth
Imagine yourself in a place you love, surrounded by warmth. Picture the sun shining on your face. Feel the warmth enveloping you from head to toe.
Focus on Your Breath
As you continue breathing, feel the air filling your lungs. With each breath, you feel lighter and more energized. Any heaviness or fatigue you’ve been carrying melts away with each exhale.
Embrace the Present
For the last few moments, remind yourself that this moment is enough. You are safe, you are warm, and you are exactly where you need to be. Embrace the peace of now.
Take one final deep breath in… and out. When you’re ready, slowly open your eyes, carrying that warmth with you throughout your day.
