Chicken Shawarma Wraps

Chicken Shawarma Wraps – Low Carb 

What is shawarma spice made of? Shawarma spice is a Middle Eastern spice mix typically made of a blend of dried ground spices. I like to use these dried ingredients as a rub for my chicken.

This Recipe Makes: 4 Wraps

Ingredients:

·         Chicken breast – x 2 fillets – Rub includes ¼ tsp each of:  black pepper, turmeric, allspice, smoked paprika, garlic powder, ginger, salt and pepper to taste.

·         Butter lettuce leaves x 6 -8

  • ½ cucumber, diced 

  • ½ tomato, diced 

  • ½ red onion, sliced 

  • ¼ cup olives, chopped

  • ½ cup feta cheese, crumbled 

Creamy Cilantro Dressing 

  • ¼ cup lemon or lime juice

  • 2 cup Greek yogurt plain unsweetened 

  • 2 garlic cloves

  • 2 tsp cilantro & parsley

  • 2 TB of champagne vinegar

 

Directions:

Wash all the veggies and chop them. Set it aside. 

  1. Rub chicken with spices then sear the chicken for 5-7 minutes in organic olive oil.

  2. While your chicken is cooking, blend your creamy cilantro dressing together until smooth.

  3. Slice the chicken once fully cooked and start assembling your lettuce wraps! 

  4. Top with your favorite toppings, I used cucumber, tomato, onion, and olives!
